Security & Compliance at DialX

DialX handles sensitive information every day — customer phone numbers, call recordings, deal details, and personal data. This page explains, in plain terms, how that data is protected, where it lives, and what practices we follow to keep it that way.

Data Encryption

Customer data, contact records, and call recordings are encrypted in transit using TLS [version — e.g. 1.2 or higher] between the DialX application and our servers.

Data is encrypted at rest using [AES-256] on our cloud infrastructure.

Access Controls

Access to customer information inside DialX is role-based. Sales reps, managers and administrators only see the information their role allows.

  • Role-based permissions for reps, managers and admins
  • Two-factor authentication / SSO available for login
  • Employee access is logged and restricted

Call Recording & Data Handling

DialX records inbound and outbound calls and securely stores them with the relevant customer record.

Recordings are accessible only to authorized users within the customer account.

DialX does not use customer call recordings to train AI models or for purposes outside providing the service.

Businesses are responsible for complying with local call recording consent laws.

Data Residency & Storage

Customer data is stored on AWS infrastructure hosted in India.

Enterprise customers can request region-specific storage where available.

Regulatory Alignment

DialX follows data-handling practices aligned with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act, 2023).

For international customers, DialX is aligned with applicable regional privacy requirements where appropriate.

Do not publish GDPR, ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certification claims unless formally certified.

Backups & Business Continuity

Customer data is backed up on a Daily schedule with a retention period of Custom Days.

Target recovery time: 4 Hours.

Third-Party Subprocessors

DialX uses trusted third-party providers for cloud hosting, SMS, calling infrastructure and payment processing.

Incident Response

If a security incident impacts customer data, affected customers will be notified within 24 Hours after confirmation.

What You Can Do to Keep Your Account Secure

  • Use a strong and unique password.
  • Enable 2FA whenever available.
  • Give users only the access they need.
  • Remove access when employees leave.
  • Review active sessions regularly.
